FSE 349 Co-Op

Students are expected to work with an employer doing something related directly to the core classes of their major. The employer and job assignment has to be approved via the co-op office and the Department Chair, Dr. William Hicks. If you attempt to use your current employer you will need to complete an assignment that is outside your normal work scope. You are required to earn three credit hours which is 240 hours of work with the employer (80 hours for every 1 credit hour). You can complete all three hours at one time or break them apart throughout your time at EKU (i.e. 1 hour SPRING 2018 and 2 hours Summer 2018). It is important to note though, that the work has to be completed for that credit hour during the semester or term it was approved. And each semester has to be approved in advance via the co-op office and Dr. Hicks.
